Step 4: Disclosure and Sustainability
After successfully using Compliance PARTNER, Executive Compensation to create draft versions of your Compensation Discussion and Analysis and tables, you will need to distribute the information internally for review and approval. If poorly organized, this can be a drawn-out process involving inside counsel, inside auditors, investor relations, HR and your finance department.
Compliance Intranet
Compliance PARTNER™, Executive Compensation simplifies the approval process with the optional Compliance Intranet, which allows you to share your draft documents easily internally. You can also publish your CD&A and associated notes for future reference.
The Compliance Intranet allows users of this system to share their progress and drafted materials with immediacy. This allows for continuous feedback from stakeholders.
Upon approval, you will be able to create your final draft CD&A and supporting tabular disclosures directly from the product.
Sustainability
Executive compensation disclosure compliance is not a one-time project, but a living, on-going process which lends itself naturally to a sustainable product.
Most companies that have developed their executive compensation disclosure using static tools, such as Office, will have continual difficulty maintaining updates to their documentation as legislation changes, NEOs change and disclosure objectives mature over time.
In contrast, Compliance PARTNER™, Executive Compensation, is a dynamic tool that stores all of your disclosure-related information in one location. The Disclosure Data Repository ensures your compensation data remains safe.
